  1. I loved that you picked the 4th of July to be relevant to what students could be doing right now. It catches their interest because the moment I started your video, my own kids were like "MOM WE ARE CELEBRATING 4th of JULY TOO!" Also, I like how you discussed the AI overview that popped up. I am so used to seeing that I would have said scrolled down. Thanks for hitting that.

  2. Sophia, I loved your how-to video on the 4th of July. I also discussed the AI overview that comes up when you search on Google, but I have actually started showing my students how to correctly utilize that. I teach them that they cannot cite that information, as it is coming from somewhere else. But the little hyperlinks next to each bullet point or summary will take you to the resources that AI pulled the information from. I teach the kids to click on those and access the resources, check for credibility and such, and cite the resource that way. I guess I am trying to embrace the fact that AI is going to be everywhere and teach students how to use it appropriately, so that they know what it is and where that information is coming from. I have so many students that search on Google and just take information from the search results without clicking on anything! I hope that by teaching them how to make the most of Google and the AI overview, I can teach them to be better users of information!

  3. Hello, I liked how you opened the beginning of the search process. How important it is to have an established question to ensure the user is receiving results that are aligned with their inquiry. Also appreciated the importance of picking a resource that is credible. Teaching users to know how to spot a credible and non credible source is important to ensure information is useful.

  4. I really like how you discussed the AI Overview that Google pops up with most searches. This was something that I continuously had to discuss with my students and tell them that they needed to work harder to find the information than just letting the AI summarize things. Great and informative video!

  5. You made such a good tutorial! I also really like that you mentioned the AI Overview. As someone who is familiar with AI I just scroll past it if I'm looking for something specific, but most students would believe it's a true search result!

  6. I really liked the tutorial, especially the extra information about citing from google. By doing it on 4th of July I feel that students would genuinely be interested and intrigued and want to learn more and follow suit with the how to video.
